The Human-Canine Alliance (TH-CA)
Loneliness is a health risk. Connection is care. Dogs are part of the solution.
Loneliness is now considered a greater public health risk than smoking 15 cigarettes a day. — U.S. Surgeon General
At the same time, approximately 390,000 healthy dogs are euthanized in U.S. shelters every year. — National shelter outcome estimates
These are not unrelated problems.
The Human-Canine Alliance (TH-CA) Podcast explores the growing crisis of human loneliness and disconnection—and the overlooked role trained, intentionally matched rescue dogs could play in addressing it.
This podcast is about people who feel isolated, disconnected, or unsupported in modern life. It’s about the quiet absence of companionship, routine, and purpose that impacts mental, emotional, and physical health. And it’s about the parallel reality in shelters, where capable dogs lose their lives—not because they lack value, but because systems are overwhelmed.
TH-CA examines a different approach: positioning dogs not simply as pets, but as purposeful partners—matched, trained, and supported in ways that create meaningful outcomes for both humans and dogs. This work aligns with the growing global movement of social prescribing, where connection, routine, and non-medical interventions are recognized as essential to well-being.
Through expert conversations, research-informed insights, and real-world examples, the podcast explores how intentional human–canine connection can support emotional regulation, social connection, confidence, and daily structure—especially for people navigating loneliness.
You’ll also hear updates and reflections on the development of TH-CA’s patent-pending, AI-powered human–canine matchmaking platform, designed to move beyond chance-based adoption toward compatibility, preparedness, and long-term success.
This podcast lives at the intersection of:
- Loneliness and human connection
- Mental-health prevention
- Rescue reform
- Social prescribing
- Ethical, purpose-driven innovation
If you’ve ever felt lonely, questioned why modern systems leave so many people disconnected, or wondered whether dogs could play a larger role in human well-being—this podcast is for you.
This is where the rabbit hole begins.
Welcome to The Human-Canine Alliance Podcast.

From Idea to Demo: Why TH-CA’s Patent-Pending App Matters Right Now
There are moments in building something where you realize you’ve crossed a line you can’t uncross.
This is one of those moments.
In this episode, Stacie announces the release of The Human-Canine Alliance’s first-ever app demo—and why it being patent-pending matters right now.
Watch the demo: https://humancaninealliance.com/app-demo
This conversation marks the shift from idea to experience: the moment TH-CA stops living only in one person’s head and becomes something you can actually see, understand, and evaluate—at a time when loneliness, mental health strain, and rescue-system overload are all reaching critical levels.
You’ll hear:
- Why this app demo is not a beta—and why that matters
- How the demo makes the TH-CA vision visible through real-world storytelling
- How multiple AI tools were used as collaborators, not decision-makers
- A heartfelt thank-you to the early supporters who made the demo possible
- Why releasing something unfinished is vulnerable—and necessary
- What “patent-pending” means for the future of human–canine matching
- How this work responds to converging crises in loneliness, mental health, and rescue
- A powerful clip from trainer Kassidy King on the “rescue rabbit hole”
- What’s next: the Validation Pilot, upcoming episodes, and the road ahead
This episode isn’t about celebrating an endgame.
It’s about marking the moment when The Human-Canine Alliance becomes real enough to be shared—and relevant to the challenges we’re facing right now.

[00:00:00] There are moments in building something where you realize you've crossed a line you can't uncross. good or bad. this is one of those moments.
Hi. I'm Stacie and you're listening to The Human-Canine Alliance podcast.
You guys, I am here to announce that we have officially released The Human-Canine Alliance's first ever app demo and it's patent pending.
Do you know what that means? That means it is something that does not currently exist.
And I gotta be honest with you, it is so exciting and it is so scary all at the same time.
But this is one of the most confidence boosting steps I have taken with The Human-Canine Alliance.
And it just feels like a line in the sand moment. You know what I mean? Like we're literally introducing to the world what it could look like if the TH-CA app existed.
That's what we're doing here. People.
Because this is the point where TH-CA stops being hypothetical and stops living only in my head.
This is the moment the vision is visible. It has shifted from something I'm explaining to something you can actually experience. You can see for yourself.
This episode isn't about celebrating our end game. It's about marking the moment when The Human-Canine Alliance is no longer just an idea.
It is now real enough to be shared. It is now real enough for you to understand what life could look like if it existed. And that matters because when ideas stay abstract, systems don't [00:02:00] change.
So let's talk about what this app demo actually is and what it isn't.
First of all, it is not in beta.
It is not a finished product. It is definitely not everything the TH-CA app will become.
So what is it? It is proof of intent. This idea has lived in my head for the last year, and when something only lives in your head, it can feel fragile.
What this demo does is it offers a way to see the vision.
You can see the logic.
You can experience the structure.
And you guys, this is one of those milestones that quietly changes everything.
The app demo walks you through how this works in real life.
You follow Rose and Toto living separate lonely lives and through the TH-CA app they find each other, they find a pathway, and they change both of their lives forever.
The app identifies human needs, canine strengths, ideal training, and provides ongoing long-term support.
when people can see the vision and experience the pathway, everything starts to shift.
Now here's the part I think you are gonna find, especially interesting how the demo was built.
We used multiple AI systems together, almost like stacking collaborators to bring this to life.
AI acted like a thought partner, not a decision maker. That was very intentional as to how I used it.
It didn't make the ethical calls.
It didn't define the values.
And it didn't replace lived experience.
You know what it did do though? It helped build a deeply human solution, faster.
But pulling these [00:04:00] AI programs together and making the app demo a reality was something I could never have done without the funds that were provided in our first round of fundraising.
And I wanna say thank you to the people who believed in my explanation so that we could get to this point of having a visual so other people can fully understand what the TH-CA app is, and how much it could really impact our society.
And I'm just gonna take a moment and name those people because if these people had not understood my vision, we might not be here today. We might be here in the future, but we might not be here yet today because I needed some funds to get this started, right? So these people are getting attention right here, right now.
Starting with Katie from Wilmington North Carolina.
Jennie from Worcester, Massachusetts.
Andreas from Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Sirenio from Morganton, North Carolina,
JT in Williamsburg, Virginia.
Lindsey in Asheville, North Carolina.
Joanne from Indian Lake, New York.
Pat in Saratoga Springs, New York.
Kevin and Beth from Indian Lake, New York.
Glen and Eva from Mooresville, North Carolina.
Michael from Indian Lake, New York.
Jim in Glens Falls, New York.
Ben in Conover, North Carolina.
Pat in Indian Lake, New York,
and Teri in Denver, Colorado.
These people believed early and they are the reason we are here today. So thank you. Thank you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for believing in my words and I am so excited to be here now sharing my vision here with others so that we can take this to the next step.
Because you guys, oh, you have to watch the app demo. You will get it. You will get why I'm so excited about this. Okay. Alright, moving on.
I also wanna name something out loud because I think it matters. Releasing a demo like this is vulnerable. [00:06:00] This is the most exposed we've been so far.
This is the stage where opinions form, and yes, that can feel uncomfortable, but there's also a risk in staying invisible.
I don't know exactly how this is gonna unfold, but I do know this. We are building something absolutely necessary for our societies.
Okay, quick pause here. And when we come back I'm going to share why this app demo being patent and pending is actually bigger than the app itself. See you in a few.
[00:08:00] [00:10:00] [00:12:00] Okay. Welcome back to The Human-Canine Alliance. I am Stacie, your host, and you guys. This part, I'm just jumping right in. It is so exciting for me.
And. I know I've said this a couple times now, but I just wanna make sure that I said patent pending because it means we are developing something that has never been built before.
Going into this, I assumed we'd be talking about licensing. Okay. But a patent? That honestly surprised me.
To understand that what we're developing over here at The Human-Canine Alliance is a concept that doesn't legally exist. Blows my mind.
It blows my mind. So let's talk about this because this is where things really have shifted a whole nother level for me.
The patent isn't just about features, it's about the framework.
At its core, it protects the concept of intentionally matching humans and canines based on compatibility, needs and outcomes With training built directly into the system.
The patent protects a framework. It formalizes something we've been doing informally [00:14:00] for decades. It brings structure to something deeply emotional.
We already match humans to jobs, housing, healthcare, partners, spouses, but pet adoption, we largely leave to chance, and let's be honest guys, mostly looks, right.
This app, this concept reframes adoption as an outcomes based decision for both the human and the dog.
And this didn't emerge in a vacuum. We are responding to converging crises.
Mental health systems are strained.
Rescue systems are overwhelmed.
This is literally an adaptation to systems that are already breaking.
And this isn't just my opinion. I want you to hear what our latest expert Kassidy King of PACK Daddy Dog Training had to say in our recent interview.
Kassidy: I call this the rescue rabbit hole.
It's like once you become aware of it, you can't unsee it. it really is jarring. Especially when you see how much money people are spending on dogs.
These are of conversations that I was having when I was really deep into rescue where I was like, nursing homes, we should be sending dogs into nursing homes.
I think something like what you are doing is so beautiful because it's solving two problems. Two problems, pairing them together to create a solution to both of those issues. And I think that that is. So important and so needed at this time because the shelter problem is only getting worse.
Our full interview with Kassidy will be released before the holidays, so keep an eye out.
Stacie: Okay, you guys, if you wanna see what the app demo actually looks like, not just hear me talk about it, you can visit the app demo page on our website.
The page is clearly labeled as our patent pending app demo. Super easy to find. It's designed to offer a real world perspective on what our lives and our systems could [00:16:00] look like if the TH-CA app existed.
So what's next? The next phase of the app is our validation pilot. This is where the validation matters more than scale, and this is the phase where we're gonna do a lot of learning, not as much growing, but that will obviously feed the growth. It's about proving the concept.
And this phase is also about testing. There will be a beta version that comes out during our validation pilot in order to truly test our theories and our hypotheses as to how the technical side works for the TH-CA intended outcomes.
And then also in our podcast future, we have some powerful conversations coming up. Like for example, you just heard a clip from our most recent interview with Kassidy King. That'll be coming out before the holidays. We dive into real world training and human canine transformations with Kassidy.
Okay, so pay attention, look for that.
Also, I've been working on an episode exploring how our everyday spending like coffee, gas, gym memberships. How those personal choices really shape the world that we're living in today.
Because it occurred to me in recent months that a lot of us put a lot of pressure on corporations to
But do we put that pressure on ourselves? Think about that. Do we? Because I had to check myself on that, and I'm still checking myself on that, and that's why I'm gonna be doing this episode.
That's what we're gonna be talking about guys. We're gonna be talking about how our money literally acts as a silent vote every single time you pull into a drive-through line, every single time you pull into a grocery store, every single time you pull into a gas station. make ethical decisions with the way they spend their money.
You might not wanna have to think about it, but we should start thinking about it.
We should start thinking about where we pull in, and we should start thinking about who we support. Because it Affects the society we live in.
It doesn't It will be after the new year, just so you know.
But before that episode comes out, we will be marking one year of The Human-Canine Alliance in January. [00:18:00] So make sure you're following the podcast.
We have so many things unfolding at the end of this year, at the beginning of next year, and 2026 is gonna be such a huge year for The Human-Canine Alliance.
So follow us, share us, pay attention. And be part of this growth. I know you wanna be part of this growth. I know you wanna be part of a society that is just making better choices for people and for animals and for anything living.
Right. Like anything living, we should just be making better choices for all of us, for everyone. It affects everyone when we make bad choices.
Mental health is a huge issue. Loneliness is a huge issue. It affects everyone.
And this is what we're trying to do. We're trying to make people aware of that. We're trying to help people understand and see. In reality, how many decisions you make in a day, how that affects your reality. It really does.
It affects my reality too, which is why I want us to make some changes.
All right guys, if you've been listening since the early days, thank you, thank you, thank you.
If this is your first episode, welcome, absolutely welcome. Go back and listen to the rest of them. You'll get caught up. You'll understand what the heck's going on.
If this resonates with you, you are already part of this.
If you're not subscribed to the Alliance Insider yet, get on it. You are not getting the latest updates when they're coming out, you're getting the delayed updates.
Because everything new that's coming out, the people on the Alliance Insider are the first ones to see it. The app demo release, the Alliance Insiders, they saw it first.
Podcasters, you guys are hearing about it first, but you're not seeing it first if you're not on the Alliance Insider.
And also follow us on social please. Help us show investors that we have numbers. Numbers are not always in revenue. Numbers don't always have a dollar sign next to them. And for us, just people just having names, just having followers on our social, on our podcast, having comments, having ratings, um, all of that matters.
All of that matters. [00:20:00] Okay? So anything you can do from a like or share standpoint, um, highly, highly, highly appreciate it. We'll take it.
You know, guys, I want you to know that this is a shared experiment. This is shared progress. I have been as transparent as I possibly can be since the very beginning of starting this, and that's because I don't know what the heck I'm doing.
I just know that these numbers don't add up, and I'm not the only one who knows that 'cause Kassidy just told us. She called it the rescue rabbit hole. And I'm sure she's not the only one calling it that. Right? So these numbers don't add up and they haven't added up for a really long time.
And so therefore, as a society, we need to make this change. No one person is going to make this change. And your support, your help, your follows, your shares, your donations.
All of that is going to make TH-CA a reality which will change our societies.
You guys, this is the moment that it's becoming real.
The Human-Canine Alliance can literally be shared, can be understood, can be seen, not just said. Not just talked about.
All right. I know that was a super exciting episode. I can't help my passion, I can't help my excitement. I am absolutely thrilled to be here just under one year later with an app demo in hand released and people seeing it and it's ready for investors to look at.
I'm so thankful for the support we have here.
I am so thankful for the growth that we have seen in the last year and. I, I just can't thank you enough. I hope you continue to follow. I hope you continue to share. I hope you continue to grow with us, be with us, be part of The Human-Canine Alliance movement.
Thank you so much for listening. Thank you so much for being here. This is The Human-Canine Alliance podcast, and I am Stacie, your host. I hope you continue to listen and [00:22:00] watch.
