AI-Powered Rescue Dog Matchmaking: App Demo Funded & Next Steps

Stacie J. King Season 1 Episode 17

This week, Stacie shares big news: thanks to early supporters, The Human-Canine Alliance has secured enough funding to create the first demo of our AI-powered matchmaking app.

The app’s mission? To connect people with compatible rescue dogs, trained for their specific needs — a proven, drug-free path to mental health and rescue.

In this episode, you’ll hear:

  • How our first week of fundraising sparked interest from community leaders and mental health innovators
  • Why creating a demo is a critical step toward trust, design, and prototyping
  • The stages of app development — from blueprint to beta testing
  • How you can support this movement: subscribing, donating, sharing, or becoming a campaign reward partner

We’re not just building an app — we’re building a future where rescue dogs are prescribed, not euthanized.

I am super excited to announce we have garnered enough financial support to create a demo of what the app is actually gonna look like. Remember, the goal of the app is to use AI powered matchmaking to match individuals with a compatible rescue dog trained for their specific needs. It's a proven drug-free path to mental health and rescue.

hey everyone, it's Stacie with The Human-Canine Alliance. I am so excited. It has been one week since we kicked off our fundraising campaign. And I wanted to share some insights, a status report and where we're headed.

So first off, our press releases and direct outreach have already drawn attention from community leadership and academic circles exploring mental health [00:01:00] innovation. That's in one week. I am flabbergasted by that, I mean, as a marketer, I am very aware that it takes more than one outreach to get a response.

I am so honored for their donation of time, connection, expertise. Those things are invaluable to me. So thank you so much. If you are listening, and you are one of those people who responded to my press release or direct outreach, thank you.

And I am super excited to announce we have garnered enough financial support to create a demo of what the app is actually gonna look like.

I am sure there's plenty of people out there who would love to invest in this, but they have a really hard time picturing what this is gonna look like or honestly believing if it's gonna come to fruition. I get it. I understand.

I'm doing my due diligence to best use our funds to invest in your trust. To invest in the trust of the people. And I have to say, the more people I talk about it with in real life, they're like, [00:02:00] when is this app coming out? This is a great idea.

Remember, the goal of the app is to use AI powered matchmaking to match individuals with a compatible rescue dog trained for their specific needs. It's a proven drug-free path to mental health and rescue.

Here's the thing, creating an app isn't just flipping a switch. the truth is, It's a journey.

Right now we are at ground zero. No code has been written, but the concept has been born, and we need a way to show the world what this app will look like, how it will feel, and how it's going to result in better options and lives for both dogs and people.

And that is where our demo video is coming in. The video becomes our visual illustration, our proof [00:03:00] of vision. And now that we have the funds to create that, our next stage of funding will look like this.

First it will be design. This is where a blueprint of the app would be developed by a UX designer and allow for us to work through the user experience.

And then we would be looking at the prototype. This would be a version that feels real and allows users to test it without it having true functionality.

At the next stage, funding would cover the first working version of the app, the minimum viable product or MVP. Maybe it doesn't have every feature, but it does the most important thing. It starts making the matches.

And then beta testing would follow the MVP. This is where the pilot training program would come in. We would start bringing in Real users, rescue organizations, adopters, people who need canine companions to test the full system and stress test the app.

Of course part of our beta testing would be establishing measurable metrics to track [00:04:00] outcomes in both mental health and rescue.

And then finally launch. That's when we go live in the app stores and it's available to the public and it can start being used in real life.

We are not just building an app. We are opening doors to possibilities that have never existed before for both humans and dogs.

In tandem with these app development stages, we are working to partner with professional canine trainers to develop the specialized training program that is going to be needed to help make each match successful.

This movement empowers a non pill solution for mental health and fast tracks a future where rescue dogs are prescribed, not euthanized. Your support makes it [00:05:00] real.

One more thing I wanted to highlight is the campaign rewards.

Our featured reward is the Bridge Builder. And you guys, the reason I made this a featured reward is because it incorporates your dog. And the reason I incorporated your dog is because, think about it. Don't you think if your dog could support, he or she would? I do.

But my point is that the Bridge Builder allows you to not only invest in this campaign, but it allows your dog to be part of the investment too.

So if you and your dog want to help us get to the next stage of the app, please donate $150 and become a Bridge Builder with The Human-Canine Alliance.

Another reward I wanted to mention is one that may be of interest for some small businesses out there. For a thousand dollars you can become an Alliance Pioneer and you can sponsor one of our podcasts episodes here at The Human-Canine Alliance.

And it's your choice. It could be a future episode, it could be one of our [00:06:00] previous episodes, maybe our top episode. You would be getting your name in front of our audience. Your logo on our homepage of our website. An early impact digital badge that you could then utilize on your website or in your social and show your support for The Human-Canine Alliance. And then also if you personally have a dog or if your company has a dog, we would then of course feature you and your dog on our founder's wall on The Human-Canine Alliance.

Join us at the early stages, and show your audience, show your customers just how much you care about the future of our society for both humans and dogs.

And then lastly, I also wanted to point out our Visionary Leader reward. It is $5,000. However, when we get to that beta stage, you would become an early beta tester and have access to The Human-Canine Alliance app

at the beta stage, and you are someone we would want feedback [00:07:00] from.

You would get a 30-second commercial produced, voiced, and aired on The Human-Canine Alliance podcast. You would also own that audio clip, so therefore you could use it on your own media channels.

And in addition, you would also be able to choose an episode of your choice for The Human-Canine Alliance podcast and become a sponsor of that episode. Again, if you'd like for it to be a future episode that best fits your brand, we could also make that happen.

Of course, there's a number of other things that are included in this package, but those are definitely the highlights.

So, let's wrap this up with, if you believe in our mission and you wanna help, there's a number of different ways you can help. Money is not always the answer. I completely understand that. If a penny is hard to spare right now. You can't spare it. I get that.

But you know what? That's not the only way that you can help support us. There's a number of ways. So here's my list. Okay?

First of all, [00:08:00] subscribe to The Alliance Insider. By signing up, it is the simplest, most powerful way to prove that people want this change. Investors are looking at numbers and when they see you standing with us, it speaks just as loud as dollars. So the more subscribers we have on our email list, The Alliance Insider. It looks just as good as our funding numbers, so please, if at the very least, all you have is an email address, sign up for our email list, The Alliance Insider.

Super easy to do. Go to our website. There's a subscribe link. There's also a popup that'll pop up and ask you to do it. There's a number of ways.

Number two, of course, you can donate. You can help us invest in our next steps, the design, the prototypes, or the next stages. And of course, we are gonna need funding at every stage.

And then also, you can share this podcast. You can share the campaign page, follow us on social; like or share our content.

Help us increase the number of people who are aware of The Human-Canine Alliance.

[00:09:00] Help us expose people to the idea of prescribing dogs instead of euthanizing them.

Help us elevate dogs to a valuable position in society. That valuable position in society will save them from euthanasia.

And think about this, when we do launch, and you do see us in the app store, you are gonna get to say, "I helped make this happen," because whether you are a subscriber of The Alliance Insider or you donated money to this fundraiser, or you are a listener of this podcast or a follower of our social networks, or you share our content. Any one of those things or any combination of those things has helped us get to where we are today and will help us get to where we're going. So thank you and thank you for believing in this mission.

I am so excited. It has been one week [00:10:00] since we kicked off our fundraising campaign and with enough funds to get us into a demo stage.

You have no idea how happy that makes me. So thank you. Thank you, thank you for those of you who invested in us as soon as we opened the gates. I just can't wait to get this demo out and release it here soon so that we can get to our next stage because I feel like there's plenty of people out there and I get it, who are, probably waiting to see a visual or see a first stage happen before they invest in our next stage.

So we're gonna make that happen because not only do we believe it, but we wanna make sure you believe it. We want you to believe this is gonna be real. This is going to be a real app.

The Human-Canine Alliance is going to be a real app in our future.

Help us make it happen.

Thank you so much for listening to The Human-Canine Alliance podcast. I am Stacie, your host. I hope you continue to listen and [00:11:00] watch.
