There are people from 16 different countries and over a hundred US cities who have tapped into this podcast. Sometimes it helps to know that there are like-minded people when you're tapping into a topic that is not so recognized by the public yet.

Hey everyone, it's Stacie with The Human-Canine Alliance, I am just popping in this week with some announcements.

I wanted to make sure, in case you weren't aware, that the video version of my interview with Barb De Groodt, which was episode 12, was released on YouTube last week.

I had gotten the audio version out on the podcast specifically for you, my podcast listener, because I wanted to make sure you got the content when you were expecting it. But I was able to get the video version out last week on YouTube.

It is under the title Barb De Groodt Global Dog Behavior Expert on the Reality of Canine Capabilities. Just like it is in the podcast.

It's a little bit more detailed in the video version and there's a lot of visuals that go along with the interview itself.

I also felt like in the interview with Barb, I didn't really do the best job of highlighting her background and what she really brings to the table in terms of her expertise and her experience and her education.

Barb De Groodt is a world class dog trainer. She has over 60 years of experience, which includes being named trainer of the year at Westminster. She's a Professional member of the International Association of Canine Professionals and an inductee into its International Hall of Fame.

She's a mentor instructor for Animal Behavior College, a frequent presenter on animal behavior at the Carrington College RVT program.

She's on the advisory board for dog Behavior at Peace of Mind Dog Rescue, and she's a founding member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers.

I really like the video version I just think it really enhances it.

So I just wanted to let you know about that and I am absolutely thrilled to announce I have another interview already lined up. This interview is going to be with physician researcher and public health pediatrician, Dr. Robert Zarr. He has provided medical attention to minorities and immigrant populations for more than 20 years. He's also a certified nature and forest therapy guide, and he's the founder and medical director of Park Rx America.

And Park Rx America might sound a little familiar because I've mentioned it once or twice in previous episodes. However, for anyone who's not aware, Park RX America prescribes nature through parks as mental health solutions, which is exactly what we're trying to do here at The Human-Canine Alliance. Except we're doing it with dogs instead of nature.

But I'm gonna let Dr. Zarr share more about Park Rx America and his background when he comes onto the podcast. You can expect to hear that interview by the end of the summer.

So get subscribed, make sure you're following, pay attention. It'll be here before the end of the summer, I promise.

Okay and then shameless plug, I just wanted to give my audience an idea of who is listening and who is paying attention to what we're doing here at The Human-Canine Alliance.

Because we're not doing something that is completely extreme. We are definitely jumping on board with the Social Prescription train that is already out there, right?

So, I just wanted to give you an idea of who else is paying attention and who else is listening to this or who else is watching this, just like you are.

There are people from 16 different countries who have tapped into this podcast, and I'll go ahead and just name them.

The countries are, of course, the United States, right. I say, of course, because that's where I live. Sweden, France, New Zealand, Singapore, Ireland, the UK, Philippines, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Canada, Australia, Bolivia, Paraguay, and South Africa.

You wanna know why I'm getting listens from these other countries? Because Social Prescriptions are already happening in over 30 countries.

And The Other part of our mission is saving dogs; creating another opportunity for rescue dogs. And that's another messaging point that is very universal.

And then lastly, there's people from over a hundred US cities listening to this podcast. I just wanted to give you a little bit of stats. Sometimes it helps to know that there are like-minded people when you're tapping into a topic that is not so recognized by the public yet. I'm gonna add yet.

Okay? 'cause that's what we're doing here. That is what we're doing here. People, and you gotta keep listening and you gotta keep watching and you gotta subscribe and you gotta follow in order to help us grow, okay?

If we're gonna save the dogs and if we're gonna save the people, we're gonna make dogs part of the Social Prescription train and make them a prescription that you can prescribe, just like you can do nature with Park Rx, like Dr. Zarr has done, that is where we're headed people.

That is where we're headed. That is our future here at The Human-Canine Alliance. I can see it, I can envision it, and I want you to be part of it. So subscribe, follow, share, do what you gotta do, help us grow.

okay? Lastly, like I said, it's just an announcement episode. This is a quick one. I'll be back in two weeks with a full content episode. Not another announcement episode, I promise.

This one, you guys? I am going to dive deep into what is happening with the mental health options and solutions left in America after the Medicaid cuts that just happened.

I'm not here to be political, but I am here to talk about the things that affect The Human-Canine Alliance and these Medicaid cuts have definitely affected the mental health solutions here in America.

Which in my opinion, amplifies the business case for The Human-Canine Alliance, so you better believe we're gonna be talking about it.

And we're gonna be talking about it in two weeks, and we're gonna be talking about it right here.

And if you are being affected by any of this, please reach out by email or by social media, I would love to have on the ground, real life insights and knowledge of what is happening, how it's affecting people, getting that onto the podcast, and having other people hear it.

Because again, one of our goals here at The Human-Canine Alliance is awareness. And that is not only on the Social Prescription side of things, but the mental health side of things, and the rescue side of things.

Please Help us build our business case to make The Human-Canine Alliance grow and be seen as a valuable resource and a valuable option to mental health solutions in America And maybe worldwide.
