Hey everyone, it's Stacie with The Human-Canine Alliance, I am just popping in this week with some announcements.
I wanted to make sure, in case you weren't aware, that the video version of my interview with Barb De Groodt, which was episode 12, was released on YouTube last week.
I had gotten the audio version out on the podcast specifically for you, my podcast listener, because I wanted to make sure you got the content when you were expecting it. But I was able to get the video version out last week on YouTube.
It is under the title Barb De Groodt Global Dog Behavior Expert on the Reality of Canine Capabilities. Just like it is in the podcast.
It's a little bit more detailed in the video version and there's a lot of visuals that go along with the interview itself.
I also felt like in the interview with Barb, I didn't really do the best job of highlighting her background and what she really brings to the table in terms of her expertise and her experience and her education.
Barb De Groodt is a world class dog trainer. She has over 60 years of experience, which includes being named trainer of the year at Westminster. She's a Professional member of the International Association of Canine Professionals and an inductee into its International Hall of Fame.
She's a mentor instructor for Animal Behavior College, a frequent presenter on animal behavior at the Carrington College RVT program.
She's on the advisory board for dog Behavior at Peace of Mind Dog Rescue, and she's a founding member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers.
I really like the video version I just think it really enhances it.
So I just wanted to let you know about that and I am absolutely thrilled to announce I have another interview already lined up. This interview is going to be with physician researcher and public health pediatrician, Dr. Robert Zarr. He has provided medical attention to minorities and immigrant populations for more than 20 years. He's also a certified nature and forest therapy guide, and he's the founder and medical director of Park Rx America.
And Park Rx America might sound a little familiar because I've mentioned it once or twice in previous episodes. However, for anyone who's not aware, Park RX America prescribes nature through parks as mental health solutions, which is exactly what we're trying to do here at The Human-Canine Alliance. Except we're doing it with dogs instead of nature.
But I'm gonna let Dr. Zarr share more about Park Rx America and his background when he comes onto the podcast. You can expect to hear that interview by the end of the summer.

Okay and then shameless plug, I just wanted to give my audience an idea of who is listening and who is paying attention to what we're doing here at The Human-Canine Alliance.
Because we're not doing something that is completely extreme. We are definitely jumping on board with the Social Prescription train that is already out there, right?

You wanna know why I'm getting listens from these other countries? Because Social Prescriptions are already happening in over 30 countries.
And The Other part of our mission is saving dogs; creating another opportunity for rescue dogs. And that's another messaging point that is very universal.

I'm not here to be political, but I am here to talk about the things that affect The Human-Canine Alliance and these Medicaid cuts have definitely affected the mental health solutions here in America.
Which in my opinion, amplifies the business case for The Human-Canine Alliance, so you better believe we're gonna be talking about it.
And we're gonna be talking about it in two weeks, and we're gonna be talking about it right here.
